The future of PixelTwips (Beta Update - May 07, 2020)

Hello everyone, lunzyde here!

In January, I talked about the future of this game and what are some of my plans for it. With that said, I need to update you all on the current state of the game, I need to take some steps and make some changes in order to have a healthy development process. On a side note, the game engine was just updated to Construct 3!

Beta 1.3.0 will still be the last major update to expect, it should still contain all the final user interface designs, but other elements will not be final such as the soundtrack (these elements will be continually worked on for future updates). Unfortunately, I've decided to cut more future features and plans. Feedback will be very important and critical for this final stage, do please take some spare time to share your feedback once you are able to try the Beta 1.3 versions. Also, I am aiming to release the Beta 1.3 versions on the Google Play Store.

High scores are still going to be cut from the game, but it is possible that they could be included in future updates. The casual mode will be cut from the beta, even the tutorial, and visualizer mode (Only the custom mode will remain for the beta). About future major updates, they will no longer be completely cut, I have some plans on some updates that could be possibly released (This includes previously planned game modes and features, as well new additional modes and features).

The game is still planned to be first released on the Google Play store and Itch.io, but the soundtrack will not be available until it is entirely finished (this may give some space for additional new tracks due to future updates).

Before I release the game on Google Play and Itch.io, I need to make sure what would be the best way to generate income and I would love to know your opinion on the matter, please fill the following form: The form is now closed, thanks for your opinions!

Anyways, that is it for now! Do stay tuned!
